My Review:

Read me Dead by author Emerald Barnes is one amazing story about a young woman named Alexia Wheaton who uncovers a painful memory from her past. Slowly as it begins to unfold as readers we are pulled into the emotional roller coaster that the the character of Alex has to endure.

Emerald Barnes is one talented writer because as a reader I could sense all of the turmoil and pain that the protagonist was feeling.

This is one amazing book and story and I wanted to thank Emerald Barnes for writing it.

Thank you Emerald for your gift and for giving us readers and aspiring writers a view into your creative world and vision!

Read Me Dead

It’s on the edge of her memory like a word on the tip of her tongue, but Kandi can’t remember what it is to save her life.

Despite being a cop, Jimmy can’t protect Kandi from the one thing that haunts her. She’s in danger and doesn’t even know it. After it happened, her brain repressed her memories of the accident, and now, she’s taking a Biology class under a man who wants to see her dead. The memories have started coming back, and it feels like she’s miles away from him. How can he protect her when she doesn’t even know she needs protecting?

Can these characters pierce their way through the darkness?

My Review:

Emerald has done it again with her book , ” Piercing through the darkness” wow where do I even begin.
As both a writer and a reader I was hooked from the beginning.  Kandi is one of the most bravest protagonist I have ever encountered.  I also love all the characters that were introduced.  You feel for all of them in this story.   Wow, I have to say that my heart  was racing as I read one chapter to the other.   I also love how Jimmy tries so hard to protect her from the truth.  I like how the story unveils from moment to moment.  However, I never saw it coming.  I loved it and I also gave this book 5 stars.   Amazing.
